Char Kway Teow is not actually noodle. It's noodle mix with Kway Teow. Kway Teow in its original form is white in color, it's flat and soft. It's made of rice in its raw form. Quite a common ingredient in Singapore, can be found it fish ball noddle too.
Adding some black soy sauce and big fire, it's a common dish in Singapore. Cockle is not totally healthy and also contain pork lark. Just a small plate is quite high in calories. But it's tasty among local hawker food.
